Community

We’re Focused on What Matters Most Right Now in Kansas City.

The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, is committed to providing support that addresses our community’s most pressing needs. With an attention to progress, our work is always evolving as we strive to take on whatever comes next.

The Significance of Trained Volunteers

Our volunteers embody the principle that individual actions, fueled by training and purpose, can collectively make a profound difference in the well-being of society.

We cannot impact our community alone. To optimize the impact of our volunteer and financial resources, JLKC seeks collaborative, strategic partnerships with those committed to lasting community impact. We proactively engage with community-based organizations to support childhood development, family preservation, and women’s self-sustainability in the five-county Kansas City Metro area.

Our volunteers and dollars support local nonprofit agencies through our Signature Programs and Community Volunteers and Grants Program (CV&G). Additionally, short-term project support and emergency funding are available through the JLKC Action Team and our Community Endowment Fund.
