PRESIDENT’S NOTE

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 2023 -2024 League year. I am overjoyed to embark on this wonderful journey alongside such a passionate and devoted group of women who are dedicated to making a difference in our community.

Since 1914, our League has had a rich history of cultivating civic leaders in the Kansas City community. Our League has a longstanding tradition of inspiring and empowering women,  providing in-depth leadership and personal development, and championing key community projects.

This new League year’s theme is “Committed to community, Committed to each other.” My hope is that together, we will:

• Stay laser-focused on our mission, keeping it at the forefront of everything we do,
• Have a renewed emphasis on providing members with meaty, thought-provoking trainings,
• Continually look for ways to evolve and enhance our fundraisers while ensuring that we promote financial responsibility and sustainability for years to come.

As we begin this new chapter, I am filled with optimism for the future and look forward to celebrating our 110^th year together in 2024. Thank you for all your contributions to the League this year and beyond.
