The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, was founded to make a difference in the community through collective action. Today, we continue to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion as we strive to fulfill our Mission and live our values.

The League is committed to helping our community’s most under-resourced women and children in the five-county Kansas City Metro area through the issue and focus areas of:

ABUSE & NEGLECT – Supporting efforts to promote the physical and emotional well-being of families and providing resources to women and children in crisis.

CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT – Supporting efforts to promote the physical and mental well-being of children.

WOMEN’S SELF-SUSTAINABILITY – Supporting efforts that empower women with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to achieve economic, social, and emotional independence.

The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri, is led by women volunteers, committed to giving back to their community. Our Board of Directors and Leaders hold positions for one year terms, focused on areas from community impact to operations and membership development.
