Community Volunteers & Grants
Community Volunteers and Grants (CV&G) is JLKC’s community outreach program that partners with organizations with a shared goal of positively affecting the Kansas City community. All Kansas City nonprofit organizations located within the five-county metropolitan area are eligible to apply for funding and volunteers to support an on-going program or project.
We are no longer accepting applications for Community Volunteers & Grants. We will open applications for the 2027-2028 League Year (June to May) in the summer/fall of 2026.

TIMELINE
- September – Community Engagement Informational Session
- October 17 – CV&G applications due
- November – February – Review and selection period
- March – April – Applicants notified of selection
- June – Grants released / Volunteer assignments begin
