KANSAS CITY, MO – The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri (JLKC) is proud to announce Julia Irene Dennie-Kauffman as the 2026 recipient of the Branton/Hall Community Collaborator Award and Shaylyn Romney Garrett, co-author of The Upswing. The Branton/Hall award and keynote will both be presented at the 9th Annual C3KC Conference on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Union Station Kansas City.

This prestigious award will be presented to Mr. Brooks at the 9th Annual C3KC Conference on April 9, 2025, at Kansas City’s Union Station.
KANSAS CITY, MO (December 2022) — The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri (JLKCMO) today announced the relocation of its annual fundraiser, Holiday Mart, to the beloved Crown Center. Shoppers are invited to continue the tradition of great shopping to benefit numerous organizations across our community next year. Holiday Mart is the only nonprofit holiday shopping event and fundraiser in Kansas City, run entirely by dedicated JLKCMO volunteers and made special by high quality, unique, and artisan vendors. Holiday Mart has made it possible for the League to significantly impact a variety of programs in Kansas City and provide financial support to nonprofits like Inclusion Connections, Solace House, and the Boys & Girls Clubs as well as iconic institutions like Union Station, the KC Zoo, and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.
KANSAS CITY, MO – The Junior League of Kansas City, Missouri (JLKCMO), is pleased to announce Michael L. Weaver, MD, Clinical Professor Emeritus, UMKC School of Medicine, as the 2023 recipient of the Branton/Hall Community Collaborator Award. Dr. Weaver is recognized for his commitment and leadership in evolving health care equity and clinical diversity in Kansas City and beyond. JLKCMO will present this award to Dr. Weaver at the 6th annual C3KC Conference on March 23, 2023, at Kansas City’s Union Station.
