Community Service Award
The Junior League Community Service Award began in 1990. This award is the League’s highest honor and is presented annually to one exemplary Sustainer member who has enriched our League and community through extraordinary volunteer service. The award recipient selects a nonprofit agency to receive a $1,500 donation in her honor.
All Sustaining members in good standing of the Junior League of Kansas City are eligible. This award may be given for voluntary service in any area, including accomplishments over a period of time, for direct service, or in recognition of efforts that have had an impact on our community.
